Here are the instructions showing you how you can DIAL FOR DARFUR! Please use this script to help you when calling your Georgia state senator. Do not be embarrassed to call; these people serve to represent our voice, and absent hearing from their constituents they won't act on SB 170 & SB 171

• Find your senator at votesmart.org

• Call 404.656.5040 and ask to be connected to your senator.
• Read the following script. Remember, the aide may ask you for your information, so don’t feel obligated to stick word-for-word to the script. Use it as you need it because you may find it helps to have something to guide your own words.

- I am very concerned about the ongoing genocide in Darfur. I feel we must take direct and immediate action to address the crisis.

- Senate Bills 170 and 171 have been introduced by Senator Adelman with bipartisan support. These bills will ensure that Georgia’s pension funds don’t continue to support the ongoing genocide and that the Georgia state government won’t enter into contracts with offending companies.
